About Me

Welcome! My name is C. Alex Thomas, and I am the founder of Signify by Alex. I am also the author of the novel “A Dream Worth Fighting For “. If you haven’t already, please feel free to support me and let me know what you think about my book! I was born in Fort Knox Kentucky and raised on the beautiful island of Saint Croix U.S.V.I. Currently, I reside in Tallahassee Florida. I created this blog after realizing that I relate to many millennials who shared some of the same financial burdens I did on my journey.  The more I spoke with my peers the more of a pattern I began to see with young professionals being deep in debt. What was concerning was the cost of living increasing, and it seemed as if many were being left behind.

Many of us have cried out for our student loan debt to be forgiven, for jobs to pay better wages that can withstand the hikes in the cost of living and provide more clarity in corporate settings about job outlook and opportunities. With the rise of inflation and no real policies being passed, it looks as if things are getting worse.

Politics aside we are all feeling the pain of being financially bogged down. However, it does not have to be that way!  I decided that it was time to make some changes and take my financial journey more seriously and write my own story.

Rebuilding Financial Infrastructure takes time and isn’t an easy fix at times. Trust me, I’ve had some ups and downs as well. I will share my journey with you as I continue to learn. I’ll be sharing the good and the not-so-good parts of my journey. I will also share tips and updates on the financial markets and fintech.

By creating a sound financial structure, we can responsibly fund what we love and eventually achieve financial independence if we so choose. The question is, can we be disciplined enough to stick to a plan that can get us there? Are we willing to change some of our habits so that we can invest in our personal development? How much work are we willing to do to repair our financial infrastructure?
